Eye Candy

Wow, it's been a long time since I last posted. Lots to catch up on. We have had a busy school holidays, with a ton of sleepovers and play dates. After only a week or so of the girls being well however, Brooke came down with Chicken Pox, and was pretty miserable for the 2nd week of the holidays. Two of her friends from school had Chicken Pox too, so we invited them over to play - as much to distract each other than anything. DH's parents came up for a week long holiday in Taupo, so the girls and their Dad have gone with them for a few days break too. Lucky me, I get to stay home and have some much needed "Me Time".

Before I go on, I have to say WELCOME to Rose and Jean, and a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Danielle and Regan! We are so stoked their identical twin girls have arrived safely and seem to be doing well. They're going to be fantastic parents - the girls are so lucky. Sending you all LOTS and LOTS of love! Can't wait to see the girls when we go to Sydney in September.

OK, back to the regular programme now....I've been busy making lots of hybrid projects for Relief Society, which I will upload another day (have to take photos of them first). I'm really enjoying my calling as Relief Society Secretary - we have an awesome Presidency, and we're all excited to serve the sisters.

I do have some exciting news (well exciting for me anyway). I got approached last week to be on the Creative Team for "The Digi Chick" scrapbook site! Woohooo! I was stunned, but oh so flattered. It's one of the top scrapbook sites around, and their products are just gorgeous. I hadn't applied to be on their CT because I just didn't think I had a chance, so to have the owner come looking for me out of the blue, well.....I'm on a high now, can you tell? LOL. OK, so here are some of the pages I've done since my last post. All of which you can see in my DST gallery for credits:

This first one is a mini card and envelope set, thanking some Relief Society ladies for helping out last week.

And my latest 365 page:

I'll post more pics of the rest of my projects later. I have to go get ready for church now.

You have had a break from your blog. I kept looking for an update. I guess your 'free' weekend will be racing by all too quickly. Love the work you have put on the site today.
Leah is too cute with her "fluffy" all over her face.
Congratulations on being head hunted.

Hey sis. Thanks for the welcome, and congrats on the creative team position! Very very impressive to be on their team. I check all those sites out each time you update and read everyones comments on your designs. Your stuff gets more impressive the more you do.
