We figured it would happen. Elisa has Chicken Pox. Brooke and several school friends had it over the holidays, and now the younger brothers and sisters are getting their turn. Thankfully Elisa doesn't seem too worried by it, and definitely doesn't seem to be as itchy with it as Brooke was. So, besides covering her with calamine lotion before bedtime, and giving her a dose of Phenergan at the same time, she needs no other treatment. She's been sleeping well, and is the same happy little girl she usually is. This photo was taken yesterday. There are more spots today:

Brooke has mufti day at school today - she's been so excited about it all week. They're also having a teddy bears picnic at 2.30pm. Parents are invited too, but I can't take Elisa while she's still contagious, so will have to hear about it once Brooke comes home. Here's the wee poppet all ready to go this morning. Isn't she beautiful :)

I've been busy scrapping too, but can't show the layouts for another day or two, so check back soon to see those. I can show these though:

Brooke is beautiful and she is looking more and more grown up!
Elisa looks pretty happy despite the chicken pox.
