Visiting Teaching

I'm excited to be part of the Visiting Teaching programme at Church. My visiting teaching companion and I have some wonderful ladies to visit, and I really enjoy catching up with them each month and seeing them at church each week. I'm still fairly new in my ward, so this is one way to meet others and feel involved. We decided to do our visiting early in the month, and so far all is going well. My companion rings and makes appointments, and I do the handouts each month, which I love doing. I thought a good idea would be to put the message (or parts of the message) onto 6x4 cards and attach them to a bookring. Each month we would bring new inspirational cards to add to the ring. Eventually the ladies would end up with a whole stack of inspirational quotes and scriptures to reference from and be uplifted by. Beats having lots of separate loose items sitting in a draw.

This is what I made for June. I used quick pages from Kristin Cronin-Barrow's Natural Beauty Album. The cards will be glued back to back and laminated.
