Back to the grind

I bumped into one of the school mums in the supermarket the other day. We exchanged pleasantries, and she asked if I was looking forward to school starting again. Her Christmas break had apparently dragged so slowly that she was going crazy entertaining her two boys (4 and 7). She couldn't wait for them to go back to school. I got a funny look from her when I told her how great our holiday had been, that the time had gone by really fast, and I really wasn't looking forward to the new term starting. She gave me this look of disbelief that made me laugh. I love my kids being home. I love not having to go to work myself, and I love having hubby home too. I also love that I get time to myself, when the girls go to stay with cousins and grandparents.

From now on I'll be relieving 4 days a week for kindy if they need me. Fridays will still be my own (house cleaning, shopping, scrapping etc). Although I'd quite happily stay home 7 days a week, it's nice to have some pocket money and contribute to the mortgage.

I'm still deciding what to do for my P365 this year. Project Life looks and sounds awesome, but I'm kidding myself if I think I'll be able to keep up that for a whole year. I'll probably carry on with the monthly summaries like I did last year. Best I hurry up and decide though, as the first layout will need to be done in the next few days.

As for my other layouts - I've scrapped some of my favourite pages this month. A special thanks to my Dad for taking so many great photos and letting me scrap them:

I created the advertising and announcement for KCB's CT call this month too:

And I did a hybrid project with Kristin's newest  kit At Last. It's a mini love letter kit. The whole folder only measures 12.5cm x 16.5cm. For more detailed photos click HERE.

I've been a terrible blogger, but then, you know that huh. The last few months have been SUPER busy and just a little bit crazy.  Our calendars were full with work, school, church, kindy, birthdays, starting school, friends parties, Christmas parties, end-of-year functions, farewells, and a host of other little things that had to be done. I can't say I'm sad that it's all slowed down now.

I'll let my layouts do the rest of the talking :)
