Term 4 already?

Gosh the year goes by quickly doesn't it? School holidays are over already and Brooke is back at school today. Elisa called out to me at 4.30am this morning. The rain on her windows was quite noisy, and she was scared, so I let her hop in bed with me for the rest of the night. She quite happily nodded off to sleep straight away, while I lay there listening to her sucking her thumb (reeeaaallly loudly) until 6.30am. I think next time I'll just stay by her bed till she goes back to sleep.

I finally caved and paid someone to mow the lawns last week. I was debating whether to do it or not (our lawn mower is dying a slow rusty death), when a flyer landed in my mailbox advertising lawn mowing services from $20. Done! I called them then and there, and they popped around the next day to do it. Awesome. We'll probably get a new mower in the near future, but I had had enough of battling to get it started and having to empty the catcher etc. I'm thinking a mulcher mower is on the cards next time...
